ADAPTER SHOE & SWIVEL, THERMAL ZINC COATED (T31000A-1PA)
The adapter shoe fits Container Lift Spreader twistlocks . The swivel eye allows a variety of sling pendants to be attached. When using the Vertical Lift Lug, the combination is often called “Emergency Gear” (see drawing below) and is used to pull damaged containers from container ship cells or for lifting containers with cargo projecting from the top. The piece 10 safety chain is critical — make sure the adapter shoe is tethered, to avoid accidental release from twistlock.
