HORIZONTAL CONNECTOR

This horizontal connector rigidly clamps containers, shelters or other structures together. Containers outfitted with ISO corner fittings can be clamped together, rigidly, with a slack-free connection. Use of the TANDEMLOC CONNECTOR enables multiple units to be locked together and shipped as one - saving time and money. Shelter facilities can be quickly formed using our connector.

HORIZONTAL CLAMP CONNECTOR (VI-SO), B50 TYPE

The horizontal Connector that Rigidly Locks. Fits Side and End Holes in ISO 1161 Corner Fittings. One side of the connector is designed to bolt to a structure. The other side engages and clamps to ISO 1161 Corner fittings. It has been used to connect antennas or other electronic devices to military shelters.

LIFT LUG FOR VERTICAL LIFTING

This lift lug is designed for VERTICAL lifting from the top corner fitting. It may be used with a master link for your sling hook or without. According to ISO 1496 and ISO 3874, when lifting containers from the top corner fittings, the forces must be vertical to prevent compressive loading to the top rail of the container. Empty 20' containers may be lifted at an angle."

LIFT LUG FOR VERTICAL LIFTING (No Ring)

Same as 20901AA-1PA (above) but without ring. This lift lug is designed for VERTICAL lifting from the top corner fitting. It may be used with a master link for your sling hook or without.

LIFT LUG WITH FLEX LINK FOR ANGULAR LIFTING FROM TOP ISO CORNER

This lift lug is designed for angular lift from the top corner fitting. It incorporates a flex link, (which looks like a chain connecting link, but it is designed AND TESTED for “hinged over” lifting), The lug meets ISO 3874. NOTE: ISO 3874 permits only empty containers to be lifted at an angle from the top corners."

STEEL CORNER FITTINGS

Our steel corner fittings meet ISO 1161 and are ABS certified. They are available in Top Right, Top Left, Bottom Right and Bottom Left fittings and are readily weldable. These are the fittings found on all ISO type Containers used in the intermodal shipping arena. They are designed to accept a variety of TANDEMLOC products.

ROTARY LUG WITH SECURING FEATURE

The TANDEMLOC Rotary Lift Lug is designed to connect lifting slings to the bottom side apertures in ISO 668 type freight container corner fittings (ISO 1161). The Rotary Lift Lug with Safety Lock has an additional safety feature to help prevent the lug from accidental dislodgement. It should be used in areas where it is not practical to have personnel standing by to insure that the 90° interlock of the toe in the corner fitting is maintained prior to lifting.

TRAILOC, RETRACTABLE UNIVERSAL TYPE W/ BENT HANDLE

Retractable twistlock well suited for flat bed type trailers. When retracted, the twislock is flush with the bed, enabling the flat bed to carry non containerized cargos. A very economical device with bent handle and hot dipped galvanized internal castings.

This twistloc incorporates tabs on the bottom cone to help guard against accidental dislodgement from the corner fitting during loading and unloading operations. This product is commonly used to connect cargo containers stacked on ships and fits the largest aperture found in ISO 1161 Corner Fittings.

This H-Frame style lifter was designed to lift small modular storage units through its forklift pockets. It was also used in the repossession of cars! The VISO fits ISO 1161 Corner Fitting large aperture and incorporates a clamping action that removes any slack between the corner fitting and the body of the connector. WELDABLE FASTMOUNT

This twistlock may welded to the customer's surface or may be purchased welded to a variety of base plates which can have mounting holes for bolt on connection. The Fastmount fits standard ISO corner fittings and offers a typical loose fit lock, allowing for accumulating tolerances between container, corner fitting and the fastmount. For slack-free fit, try the Vertical VISO's, #K08A00A-1PA. The fastmount may be used on ship decks or trailers to secure containers.

FLUSH TIEDOWN RING

The S33000E series tiedown conforms to Mil Std 209. This style incorporates a low profile, fully weldable housing that can be surface mounted. It could be welded to bolt on plates for applications where removability is needed. It rotates 360 degrees about the vertical plane and 150 degrees horizontal. It will swivel and swing to the load plane within these angles. The tiedown ring will work with hooks or you can lash flat bands to the ring's cross bar.

The S33000E series tiedown conforms to Mil Std 209. It incorporates a low profile, fully weldable, compact housing that can be surface mounted or flush mounted. It could be welded to bolt on plates for applications where removability is needed. It rotates 360° about the vertical plane and 150° horizontal. It will swivel and swing to the load plane within these angles. The tiedown ring will work with hooks or you can lash flat bands to the ring's cross bar.

Straight and bent handle. This very inexpensive twistlock is easy to install. It remains raised, ready for use. Fits ISO corner fittings and is weldable.

LINKED TIEDOWN ASSEMBLIES OR KITS

The Linked Tiedown is typically used to install along the side rails of flat beds or steel platforms and used as a tie down point. It offers an excellent range of motion to align with the lash angle. We have also developed an "anti jingle" clip (inquire) that holds the tiedown ring in place, keeping the assembly from making noise when the truck is underway. The tiedown bracket is low carbon steel for excellent welding characteristics while the links and tiedown ring are forged alloy steel. Thousands and thousands are in the field right now.

VERY SHALLOW COMBO TWISTLOCK & TIEDOWN SET

The T42000C series Tiedown features a "screwdown" shallow depth ISO Twistlock and two Mil Std 209 Tie downs, all within one cast steel weldable housing. This tiedown is beneficial when space is at a premium. This very shallow design includes a mechanism to prevent unwanted "unscrewing" or loosing while the vehicle is traveling over rough terrain. This product is fully galvanized, but we removed the galvanize at the weld zones.

We probably have one that will do the job and if we don't, they are a snap for us to customize. As for slings, we can supply them too. Some designs show a sling as a separate item number and some incorporate a sling as part of the spreader and others don't offer a sling. Please check the drawings carefully or just ask--we can provide the sling if needed. As for the spreader bar end design, yes these can be made with clevis ends to eliminate shackles. Also, the bars can be designed for low sling angles. And yes, everything is proof tested without extra charge! And you will lift with confidence!
